Google Knows When We Go to Store & Buy

As we like & use free media tools for our ease & convenience, we leave behind our electronic foot prints. Google develops lot of free media tools. There is a report Google now knows when its users go to the store and buy stuff, but is it surprising? The tech companies who offer free tools are not charities and they have to pay their bills too. We should know better!
